Bella was a small girl. She was seven years old. Bella’s mother was a doctor. She always remained scared and lost. Her father was a tourist guide. He always remained on tours.
Bella was a simple child like others in her childhood, but one incident changed her whole life. She was walking freely in a park when suddenly a tiger tore the cage, as the cage was broken from one part and the tiger knew that weakness of his cage.
He broke the cage and ran quickly. Bella was watching the tiger, and she was scared as he reached near her, but the security saved her from the tiger.
She felt scared and unsafe after that day. Bella’s father remained worried about how she could survive in such a cruel world with fear and anxiety. One day she was in the school, and she got scared watching a big dog with one of her classmates. She was screaming loudly and became hardly scared.
The principal called her parents and told them the whole incident. They were concerned about her mental health and got an appointment with a psychologist.
But Bells wasn’t showing any improvements. She was behaving like she didn’t know anybody. After some sessions Bella’s mind got relaxed, but again she got scared by watching another wild animal.
One day, a new student came into the class. Her name was Julie. No one wanted to make Julie their friend, as she was a very serious kid, and they all were watching her in hate.
She always put on a serious face, attitude, and rude behavior towards other kids. One day Bella was going to the canteen, and she watched the same big dog in front of her; she cried. Julie was also passing through her.
She stopped and hugged Bella. She was calming her slowly. Bella controlled herself and told Julie she was fine.
Students were watching that whole scenario and told the complete story to the teacher. She was surprised. How could a little student do this? She called Julie and Bella and asked about the whole incident.
Bella wasn’t looking scared. The principal noticed everything and told the whole story to Bella’s parents. They were very happy as they were trying to solve their daughter’s problem, but there wasn’t any solution.
Julie was a kind girl, but she belonged to a poor family. She remained away from other kids, so they didn’t show their sympathies for her as she was poor.
She was a brave girl with black and curly hair and black skin, but she proved her kindness, so the principal tried to give her a gift, but she refused.
She told them she helped Bells as a friend, not for money or a prize. Everybody got surprised. The next morning, Bella came to meet Julie and brought her lunch to share with Julie.
Bella saw there were tears in Julie’s eyes. She asked Julie, why did she cry? Julie told Bella that her mother made a tasty lunch for her, but she lost her life after fighting with a chronic disease.
Bella promised her that she would also bring her lunch along with her own lunch. Julie was watching Bella with thankful eyes.
After that they became good friends of each other. Bella always brought some homemade pastries for Julie, as she liked that a lot.
One day, Julie helped Bella to fight her fear by keeping a dog, and she made it simple for her to love the animals again; it was her first step toward this goal.
